There is nothing like competing under the bright
lights of Las Vegas. And boy, did those lights shine bright on Team Agin.com at
the Helldorado Days Rodeo, late May 2009. Everything went according to plan
during that weekend which saw Team Agin.com win the event. They were able to
take first in the 1st Round and Final Round. The event was across from the famed
Freemont Street.
Team Agin.com held its first team bronc riding clinic in April 2009 at the Mike Mosby Ranch in Parkfield, CA. In attendance were both rookies and veterans of the sport. The rookies were able to learn the basics without the added pressure of competing at a rodeo. This way they could be watched very closely by the instructures and any bad habits erased quickly. The veterans were able to get a tune-up before the season started and be coached in any area they have been having trouble with during the previous season. All aspects of the sport are discussed at the clinics with an emphasis on how to properly leave the chute and run the horse across the arena. For those wanting to better themselves at the sport of team bronc riding check Team Agin.com's webpage for the next clinic
Team Agin.com battled the best in the sport of Team Bronc Riding at the Southpoint Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. The PTBRA NFR was held on the 3rd and 4th of December during the PRCA NFR. Team Agin.com came to the Finals healthy and focused. Unfortunately, there are always situations that cannot be controlled and can ruin the finals for any team. The '09' Finals was the worst for Team Agin.com since there rookie finals in '00'. When the dust settled they finished in the back of the pack, 5th in the Average. On the other side of the coin, there were plenty of reasons for Team Agin.com to feel good when they look back over the entire season and on toward next year.
Rodeo on the Strip travels to the South Point Hotel and Casino in Fabulous Las Vegas in a quest to define what really are the "Thunder Equigames". We have exclusive footage of everything that goes on behind the scenes including interviews with the Equigames Bull Fighters, Founder Denny Gentry, and the one and only Charmayne James 11 time World Champion Barrel Racer. We've got it all!
The first go at the 2008 TBR NFR showed promise for Team Agin as they took a second to start the 6 head average. Unfortunately, a theif stole the camera that contained the rest of the runs from the 08 Finals, so this is the only run that will be remembered from this finals. A cash reward is offered to anyone who might have info that will lead to the safe return of the stolen camera
Thanks to rookies Mark, Jeff, and Jesse, from Colorado, Team Agin can share their first 2 gos at the 2009 BHSS with their fans. They were nice enough to include Team Agin on their You Tube video from the same rodeo. The rookies did not fair so well, but Team Agin was able to place two firsts to start the rodeo. Keep your heads up, rooks, your day in the sun is soon to come.
Team Agin took 1st place during the 5th performance of the St. Paul Rodeo. Josh Lair, competing under his own name, took second place right behind Trace. Team Agin finished 3rd in the average in St. Paul.
